Chaos Rising is Here: Everyone’s Ripping, and the Hits Are Delivering

What a week for Pokémon TCG collectors! Chaos Rising officially dropped yesterday (May 22), and the community has been going absolutely wild. Preorders started rolling in strong on Friday, and a ton of you out there got your allocations... whether it was booster boxes, ETBs, or those coveted Pokémon Center exclusives. From what I’m seeing across the groups and marketplaces, boxes are flying off shelves and people are cracking packs left and right. The set is living up to the hype as a solid Mega Evolution entry. We’re seeing strong pull rates on the Ultra Rares and Illustration Rares, though the Special Illustration Rares (SIRs) and that lone Mega Hyper Rare remain chase-level difficult, as expected. Top SIR Hits & Current English Market Values (as of May 23) Cards aren't real -- Fan Made Here are the standout Special Illustration Rares making the biggest waves right now: Mega Greninja ex SIR – The undisputed king of the set. Raw copies are trading in the $500 - $650+ range al...

Pitch Black Possible SIRs: Giratina Stealing the Spotlight with Darkrai Vibes?

Japan’s Abyss Eye drops in just a few days (May 22), and the hype for English Pitch Black (July 17) is already pitch perfect. We’ve seen the four main Pokemon ex (including those shiny new Mega Evolutions), but the real chase cards ... the Special Illustration Rares (SIRs) ...are where this set could shine brightest. The Confirmed Hits So Far We’ve got early looks at some premium artwork, including a stunning Mega Chandelure SIR that’s giving major spooky, starry-night energy. It’s easily one of the early standouts for collectors. Trainer cards like Gwynn are also popping up in SIR treatment. But the internet is buzzing about something else right now... That Giratina Full Art – Roman Pillars and Legends Arceus Vibes Word is spreading about a Giratina full art (possibly around the /081 mark) featuring classic Roman/Greek-style pillars in the background. This screams Pokémon Legends: Arceus influence - think Distortion World meets ancient ruins, with Giratina looking absolutely menacing....

We’ll be watching the secondary...

Walmart’s 2026 Pokémon Disaster: Bots Are Bottling Every Drop to the Ground

What’s up, Krain Crew? If you’ve tried ordering any Pokémon TCG product from Walmart.com this year, you already know the drill. You get the drop alert, you click as fast as humanly possible, and… gone. Cart empty, “out of stock” in seconds. Another release completely botted out before most real collectors even had a chance. This isn’t just one bad drop. It’s been every single major Pokémon release in 2026 ...  Paldean Fates boxes, Prismatic Evolutions, Ascended Heroes ETBs and Booster Bundles, you name it. Walmart is getting absolutely cleaned out by bots, and it’s reaching ridiculous levels. Image is for satire. Here’s the ugly truth: botters are running thousands of accounts ... fresh emails, fake info, VPN rotations, the works - and scooping up 99% of the product the second it goes live. Whether it’s ETBs, booster boxes, mini tins, or collection boxes, the same groups are posting their massive hauls while the rest of us sit there refreshing with nothing to show for it. Walmart ...

2026 Bowman Baseball Drops Today: Blaster & Mega Box Hits You Need to Hunt for

What’s up, Krain Crew? It’s release day for the biggest prospect drop of the year... 2026 Bowman Baseball is officially here as of May 13! This set is the launchpad for the next wave of MLB superstars, packed with those coveted 1st Bowman cards, Chrome prospects, and a fresh design that collectors have been buzzing about for months. Whether you’re ripping for the future Hall of Famers or just chasing some fire inserts, Bowman never disappoints. Today we’re zeroing in on the retail side... specifically the Blaster Boxes hitting shelves right now and the Mega Boxes dropping in a couple weeks on May 27. (Hobby and Jumbo boxes are a whole different beast with their own higher end autos and case hits - we’ll touch on those separately at the end.) These retail formats are perfect for budget friendly breaks, store runs, or building sets without dropping a fortune. Blaster Boxes: Green Parallels, Retail Autos & Everyday Fire Blasters are your classic retail entry point - 6 packs per box, 1...

Happy Sunday, May 10, 2026 – Collector's Corner!

Good morning, wrestling fans and card collectors! I hope you're enjoying a relaxing Mother's Day (shoutout to all the amazing moms out there). If you're like me, your weekend has a healthy dose of WWE action from last night and plenty of cardboard excitement on the horizon. Let's dive into the latest. WWE Backlash Recap Vibes (It Happened Last Night!) WWE Backlash went down Saturday night in Tampa, and if you haven't caught the highlights yet, it's worth checking out. I was glued to the screen all evening. I won't give away any results below...No spoilers! Biggest talking points for me: Bron Breakker vs. Seth Rollins: This was the one I was most hyped for. Former allies turned bitter rivals ... Breakker's explosive power against Rollins' experience and pedigree. The match delivered chaos, and I'm still buzzing from it. Danhausen's Mystery Tag Partner: The quirky one teamed up with a surprise partner against The Miz & Kit Wilson. Speculat...

The Bot Invasion: Walmart and Target Pokémon Drops Are Basically Over for Humans in 2026

Hey everyone, welcome back to the Krain Sports Report. If you’re still out here refreshing Walmart.com every Wednesday night like it’s 2024, I feel your pain... and I’ve got some bad news. Botting isn’t just “a problem” anymore. It’s straight-up taken over. AI-generated satirical image for illustrative purposes. Walmart & Target logo used in parody/criticism context We’ve officially hit the point where it’s been months since a regular human (no scripts, no queues hijacked, no Refract or whatever flavor-of-the-month bot) has reliably hit a Walmart drop on Wednesday nights. And yeah, we’re deep into 2026 now ... this has been the reality basically all year. You sit there at 9 PM ET, queue pops, timer starts… and boom, everything’s gone in seconds. Every. Single. Time. The Discord groups are flooded with the same complaint: “Bots ate again.” One Reddit thread I saw recently estimated 18k–20k units of stock on a big drop and basically all of it going to the top botters. Manual gr...
