🎉 Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration: Full Lineup Is Here

TPC officially revealed the complete product lineup for Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration on June 30, and the hobby is buzzing. The set launches worldwide on September 16, 2026 ... the first-ever simultaneous global Pokémon TCG release. Every card in the set is foil. Every pack includes one of 30 unique Pikachu illustrations by different artists. There's a brand-new rarity called Futuristic Rare, designed by acclaimed Tokyo-based artist YOSHIROTTEN, with Mewtwo ex and Mew ex as the flagship pulls. And 30 classic iconic Pokémon cards from across the game's history return with special foiling and a 30th anniversary stamp.

Pokemon 30th Anniversary Elite Trainer Boxes coming soon from KrainSports

Here's the full product breakdown:

Releasing September 16:

  • Tech Sticker Collection - 3 packs, foil promo of either Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario, matching sticker sheet.
  • Pokémon ex Box - 4 packs, promo card featuring Sylveon ex or Greninja ex, oversized card.
  • Knock Out Collection / 2-Pack Blister - 2 packs, foil Eevee promo, commemorative coin.
  • Poster Collection - 3 packs, three promos featuring Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, full-size two-sided poster.

Releasing October 30:

  • Battle Decks - Espeon ex & Umbreon ex - all-foil 60-card decks, deck box, coin, playmat, special Victini or Zeraora promos.

Releasing November 6:

  • Ditto Premium Collection - 8 packs, foil Ditto promo, colorful acrylic display.
  • Mew & Mewtwo Figure Collections - 5 packs, foil promo, oversized card, sculpted figure.
  • Ultra-Premium Collections - Day (Espeon ex) & Night (Umbreon ex) - the big ones. More on these below.

🔥 Wait… The UPC Has 29 Packs? Let's Talk About That

If you saw the image floating around of the Espeon ex / Umbreon ex Ultra-Premium Collections and thought "did that say 29 packs?" ... yes. You read that right.

Pokemon 30th Anniversary Ultra Premium Collection coming soon from KrainSports

Each UPC includes 29 regular 30th Celebration booster packs PLUS one special "Classic Collection" booster pack containing three cards exclusively from the set's nostalgic Classic Collection reprint slot. That's 30 total packs ... one for every year of the Pokémon TCG. The Classic Collection pack is currently the only guaranteed way to get those reprinted classics, with a special pack making it a sure thing versus hunting for them as rare pulls in regular packs.

Each UPC also comes with the Pikachu ex promo illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN (day or night version), the corresponding Espeon ex or Umbreon ex promo, a themed playmat, card sleeves, deck box, and other accessories. These drop November 6 and they are going to be among the most hunted products of the entire year. Get on a preorder list the moment they open. Do not wait.

Buy or Sell? The UPC is a buy at MSRP, full stop. 29 packs of a set where every card is foil, plus exclusive promo content and the Classic Collection pack ... this is going to move fast and scalp hard above retail. The ETB at $54.99 is also a strong buy for September 16 launch day.

⚡ Sam's Club Alert: Ascended Heroes Focused Fighters - July 21

Sam's Club is dropping another exclusive Pokémon premium collection and this time it's built around Mega Hawlucha ex. The Ascended Heroes Focused Fighters Premium Collection hits Sam's Club both in stores and online on July 21 for $54.98, with a limit of two per membership.

Ascended Heroes Heavy Hitters Premium Boxes coming soon at SamsClub and KrainSports

Here's what's inside: 14 Ascended Heroes booster packs, a jumbo oversized Mega Hawlucha ex card, plus four reprints - Mega Hawlucha ex, Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex, N's Reshiram, and N's Zekrom. If you look at the image above, you can see it already made its way onto a Sam's Club floor somewhere ... which means there's a real chance some locations stock it early before the official July 21 date. Keep your eyes open when you're in store.

Sam's Club did this same thing with the Heavy Hitters collection earlier this year, and that one moved fast. This is a solid value at $54.98 for 14 packs plus promo content - but it's Sam's Club, so the two-per-membership limit is there for a reason. Move on it quickly on July 21. And if you want an instant ping when it goes live online, you know where to go → alerts.krainsports.com

Buy or Sell? Buy at $54.98 if you're an Ascended Heroes collector or just want value packs. The Hawlucha ex and N's promo cards add collector upside beyond just the pack content.

🏴‍☠️ One Piece TCG: July Is Event Season

No new One Piece set drops in July, but the competitive and community calendar is packed.

Anime Expo (July 2–5, Los Angeles) - One Piece Card Game will be at Anime Expo at the LA Convention Center. Convention events typically offer limited product at MSRP plus guided tutorials. There's also a promotional Tony Tony Chopper card (OP09-029) being given out at this event ... worth tracking down if you're in the area.

One Piece Night - LA Dodgers (July 2) - Dodger Stadium is hosting One Piece Night and the first 50,000 ticket holders get a unique Dodgers Luffy DON!! card. That's a crossover promo card that's going to be a collector's item fast.

Store Tournaments 2026 Vol. 3 and Pirate Party Vol. 2 run all month at local game stores, with exclusive alternate art promo cards for participants. If you're playing OP-16 competitively, this is how you get the Miss Valentine and Gorgon Sisters alt arts.

And keep the big dates on your radar: July 31 - six new One Piece Starter Decks (ST31–ST36) drop in Japan, with the English release following on July 31 as well. Then August 28 - OP-17: The World's Strongest Warriors lands globally, taking us to Elbaph. The build-up to that set is going to start heating up very soon.

The Bottom Line

The 30th Celebration product lineup is everything collectors hoped for and then some. The UPC with 29 packs plus the Classic Collection guaranteed pack is genuinely special, and the wave of products from September through November means the hobby's fourth quarter is going to be absolutely loaded. Sam's Club Focused Fighters on July 21 is the more immediate play ... get in before the limit runs out.

Big things are coming. Stay ready.

The Bot Takeover: How Walmart’s Queue Systems (and Others) Are Supercharging Automated Checkout in the TCG and Sports Card World

Hey collectors, if you’ve tried snagging the latest Pokémon TCG drop, One Piece tins, or a fresh Panini/Topps sports card box at Walmart lately, you already know the drill. You refresh the page at drop time, get thrown into a “queue,” wait 10 - 30 minutes… and by the time your spot comes up, everything is sold out. Meanwhile, thousands of units vanish in seconds. Welcome to 2026, where retailer queue systems - supposedly designed to give everyone a fair shot - have instead turned high-demand trading card drops into a bot playground. What started as an anti-scalper tool has become the very reason botting and automated checkout tools are exploding. Let’s break it down. Why Retailers Rolled Out Queue Systems in the First Place Walmart, Target, Pokémon Center, and others introduced virtual queues during massive restocks (think Walmart Wednesday Pokémon drops, Prismatic Evolutions bundles, One Piece OP-13 tins, or Bowman basketball releases). The goal was simple: Slow down the flood of tra...
